Abstract: RI 25-2 IS USED BY THE SURVIVORS OF RETIRED FEDERAL EMPLOYEES TO APPLY TO HAVE THEIR SURVIVOR ANNUITITIES INCREASED TO THE MINIMUM AMOUNT, AS PROVIDED UNDER THE MINIMUM ANNUITY PROVISIONS OF P.L. 93-273. THIS PROVISION APPLIES ONLY TO SURVIVORS WHOSE ANNUITIES BEGAN BEFORE FEBRUARY 27, 1986.
