THE AGRICULTURE ACT OF 1949, AS AMENDED, PROVIDES FOR THE MAKING OF LO DEFICIENCY PAYMENTS ON ELIGIBLE COMMODITIES. FORMS REQUIRED FOR REQUESTING THESE PAYMENTS ARE USED BY PRODUCERS WISHING TO OBTAIN A LO DEFICIENCY PAYMENT INSTEAD OF A PRICE SUPPORT LOAN ON ELIGIBLE PRODUCTION.
