Abstract: OPM USES "UNASSEMBLED" EXAMINATION METHODS WHEN NO WRITTEN TEST IS REQUIRED TO EVALUATE APPLICANTS' KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES. A DIFFERENT OPM FORM 1170 IS DEVELOPED FOR EACH OCCUPATION FOR WHICH THI APPROACH IS DEEMED FEASIBLE. SEVERAL EXAMPLES ARE ATTACHED. APPROVAL WOULD ALLOW CONTINUED USE OF THESE VALUABLE EXAMINING TOOLS.
