Abstract: THIS SURVEY WILL GATHER INFORMATION AS OF APRIL 1992 ON TURNOVER VOLUME IN THE U.S. FOREIGN EXCHANGE MARKET FROM FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS THAT ARE PRINCIPALS IN THE MARKET AND FROM BROKERS THAT ARE ACTIVE IN THE MARKET. THE INFORMATION WILL ASSIST IN ASSESSING MARKET STRUCTURE AND IN IMPLEMENTING MONETARY POLICY.
