Abstract: THE POULTRY INSPECTION PROGRAM CARRIES OUT THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FEDERAL POULTRY INSPECTION ACT TO INSPECT THE COMMERCIAL SLAUGHTER OF DOMESTIC POULTRY AND THE PROCESSING OF POULTRY PRODUCTS AND ASSURES TH POULTRY PRODUCTS DISTRIBUTED TO CONSUMERS ARE SAFE, WHOLESOME OF GOOD QUALITY, NOT ADULTERATED, AND HONESTLY AND INFORMATIVELY LABELED.
