Abstract: INFORMATION WILL BE COLLECTED FROM 206 PRODUCERS AND 95 IMPORTERS AS PART OF COMMERCE'S SECTION 232 GEAR INDUSTRY INVESTIGATION. THIS INVESTIGATION INCLUDES EXAMINATION OF THE EFFECT OF IMPORTS ON ALL PHASES OF U.S. PRODUCTION CAPACITY NECESSARY TO MEET NATIONAL SECURITY REQUIREMENTS.
