THIS IS THE FIRST STUDY EXAMINING ACCESS TO CAPITAL BY SMALL AND MINORITY-OWNED BUSINSSES. THE RESEARCH METHOD WILL GENERATE QUANTITATI DATA FROM A NATIONAL MAIL SURVEY, WHICH WILL, IN TURN, BE INTEGRATED SECONDARY DATA. RESEARCH WILL ASCERTAIN THE TYPES, INCIDENCE, BARRIERS SUBSTITUTIONS, AND COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH ACQUIRING ADEQUATE AMOUNTS OF BUSINESS EQUITY CAPITAL.
