Abstract: DATA ON THE RELATIVE COSTS AND COVERAGE OF HEALTH BENEFITS IN SMALL AND LARGE FIRMS ARE NEEDED TO EVALUATE THE EFFECT OF CURRENT AND PROPOSED FEDERAL PROGRAMS. THE ACCESSIBILITY OF HEALTH BENEFITS BY DIFFERING EMPLOYER, WORKFORCES, AND FIRM CHARACTERISTICS IF OF SPECIAL INTEREST. THE SURVEY SAMPLE WILL BE NATIONALLY REPRESENTATIVE OF PRIVATE FIRMS.
