Abstract: A STRUCTURED INTERVIEW WILL BE CONDUCTED WITH APPROXIMATELY 100 EMPLOYEES WHO SEPARATED FROM NIST IN 1990. RESPONDENTS WILL BE ASKED QUESTIONS TO DETERMINE THEIR REASONS FOR LEAVING. THIS INFORMATION WIL BE USED TO HELP ASSESS THE IMPACT OF THE NIST DEMONSTRATION PROJECT ON EMPLOYEE RETENTION.
