Abstract: WITH THIS MODIFIED 1040EZ FORM, IRS WILL DETERMINE TAXPAYER WILLINGNESS TO HAVE IRS CALCULATE ONE'S TAX, RATHER THAN HAVE INDIVIDUALS CALCULATE THEIR OWN TAX. THIS SIMPLIFIED 1040EZ FORM WILL BE SENT TO 3,000 TAXPAYERS IN TEXAS FOR THE 1990 FILING. LATER THIS YEAR IRS WILL SURVEY THESE TAXPAYERS TO FIND OUT WHY THEY DID OR DID NOT CHOOSE TO USE THIS FORM.
