Abstract: ACCURATE INDUSTRIAL CODING BASED ON THE 1987 STANDARD INDUSTRIAL CLASSIFICATION MANUAL IS NEEDED BY MANY FEDERAL, STATE, OR LOCAL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AND PRIVATE RESEARCHERS. THE IMPLEMENTATION OF NEW INDUSTRIAL CLASSIFICATION FORM WILL GATHER THIS INFORMATION IN A SIMPLER AND LESS BURDENSOME MANNER.
