Abstract: TO RESPONDE TO P.L. 100-91, THE NATIONAL PARKS OVERFLIGHT ACT OF 1987, THREE SIMULTANEOUS SURVEYS OF WILDERNESS VISITORS WILL DETERMINE IF AIRCRAFT OVERFLIGHTS OF WILDERNESS POSE AN ADVERSE IMPACT TO WILDERNES VISITORS, AND IF SO, IDENTIFY THE CHARACTERISTICS AND MAGNITUDE OF THE PROBLEM IN RELATION TO OTHER IMPACTS ON WILDERNESS REACTION ENJOYMENT.
