Abstract: FIRE INCIDENT DATA ARE ROUTINELY COLLECTED BY THE NFIRS (NATIONAL FIRE INCIDENT REPORTING SYSTEM) OF THE U.S. FIRE ADMINISTRATION. CPSC IS REQUESTING THAT FIRE SERVICE PERSONNEL COMPLETING THE NFIRS FORM ALSO INDICATE WHETHER NATURAL OR LP GAS WAS THE FUEL SOURCE. THIS IS THE ONLY DATUM FOR WHICH CLEARANCE IS BEING REQUESTED.
