Abstract: TAXPAYERS ARE ALLOWED A CREDIT AGAINST THEIR INCOME TAX FOR INVESTMENT IN CERTAIN PROPERTY USED IN THEIR TRADE OR BUSINESS. FORM 3468 IS USED TO COMPUTE THIS INVESTMENT TAX CREDIT. THE INFORMATION COLLECTED IS USED BY THE IRS TO VERIFY THAT THE CREDIT HAS BEEN COMPUTED CORRECTLY.
