Abstract: UNDER 7 CFR PART 226, THE FOOD AND NUTRITION SERVICE HAS ESTABLISHED REQUIREMENTS TO COLLECT AND VALIDATE PROGRAM INFORMATION TO ENSURE THA THE CACFP BENEFITS ONLY ELIGIBLE CHILDREN AND ADULTS, AND THAT PARTICIPATING STATE AGENCIES, INDEPENDENT INSTRITUTIONS, SPONSORING ORGANIZATIONS, AND FAMILY DAY CARE HOMES CONFORM WITH THE STANDARD IMPOSED UNDER SECTION 17 OF THE NATIONAL SCHOOL LUNCH ACT, AS AMENDED.
