DATA COLLECTION WILL BE A SURVEY OF FOOD STAMP HOUSEHOLDS TAKING PART IN FOUR SEPARATE EVALUATIONS. ONE HALF OF THE RESPONDENTS WILL RECEIVE THEIR BENEFITS IN CASH, THE OTHER IN COUPONS. IN EACH EVALUATION, COMPARISONS WILL BE MADE BETWEEN THE TWO GROUPS OF RESPONDENTS TO DETERMINE THE EFFECTS OF CASH-OUT ON FOOD EXPENDITURES, FOOD USE, AND NUTRIENT AVAILABILITY.
