Abstract: THE CENSUS BUREAU WIL CONDUCT A SPECIAL PLACE PRELIST TO OBTAIN A COMPLETE AND CORRECT LIST SPECIAL PLACE (SP) NAMES AND ADDRESSES FOR THE 1990 DECENNIAL CENSUS. WITH A PERSON AT EACH SPECIAL PLACE, WE VERIFY OR IMPROVE OUR ADDRESS LISTING, OBTAIN THE NAME AND PHONE NUMBER OF A CONTACT PERSON, AND IDENTIFY GROUP QUARTERS (GQS), AND HOUSING UNITS (HUS). ALL LIVING QUARTERS IDENTIFIED ARE MATCHED AGAINST THE CENSUS ADDRESS CONTROL FIL
