Abstract: NATIVE AMERICAN EDUCATION, ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS, SECONDARY SCHOOLS'. ALL BUREAU-FUNDED ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOL COMPLETE ONE FORM FOR EACH STUDENT IN ATTENDANCE DURING COUNT WEEK. SPECIFIC DATA ON GRADE, RESIDENTIAL STATUS, AND HANDICAPPING CONDITION ARE WEIGHTED FOR THE FORMULA DISTRIBUTION OF APPROPRIATED FUNDS. ABOU 1/3 OF THE SCHOOLS ARE OPERATED BY CONTRACT WITH INDIAN TRIBES.
