Abstract: IN ORDER TO PROVIDE QUALITY MEDICAL CARE TO FORMER PRISONERS OF WAR (POW'S), THE VETERANS ADMINISTRATION NEEDS THE INFORMATION REQUESTED TO ASSESS POW HEALTH STATUS. THIS INFORMATION WILL BE GATHERED FROM FORMER POW'S AND A CONTROL GROUP OF COMBAT VETERANS AND WILL BE USED TO HELP MEET HEALTH CARE NEEDS OF THESE VETERANS.
