Abstract: S PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS, USER CHARACTERISTICS' THERE MAY HAVE BEEN AN ESTIMATED 950000 MEDICALLY ATTENDED INJURIES AN OVER 1,150 DEATHS INVOLVING ATV'S SINCE 1982. INFORMATION ON SPECIFIC CHARACTERISTICS OF BOTH THE PRODUCT AND USER POPULATIONS ARE NEEDED TO EVALUATE CHANGES IN RISK FACTORS, THE IMPACT OF COMMISSION ACTIONS, AND THE NEED FOR FURTHER COMMISSION ACTION.
