Abstract: THE VACATION PROPERTY SUPPLEMENT IS NEEDED TO TEST A MORE COMPREHENSIVE SET OF QUESTIONS ABOUT VACATION PROPERTY THAN CURRENTLY APPEARS ON THE QUARTERLY INTERVIEW SURVEY. TH DATA WILL BE ANALYZED TO DETERMINE THE SUITABILITY OF A CONCEPTUAL CHANGE IN THE TREATMENT OF VACATION PROPERTY IN THE CONSUMER PRICE INDEX.
