Abstract: THE BUREAU OF THE CENSUS AUTHORIZES EXPORTERS MAKING NUMEROUS SHIPMENTS OF ESSENTIALLY THE SAME COMMODITIES TO FILE FORM 7225-M WHEN SUCH USE WOULD REDUCE SUBSTANTIALLY THE NUMBER OF INDIVIDUAL SHIPPER'S EXPORT DECLARATIONS (SEDS) FILED. THESE SEDS PROVIDE DATA FROM WHICH CENSUS COMPILES THE OFFICIAL U.S. EXPORT STATISTICS.
