Abstract: MEAL PRICE INFORMATION WILL BE COLLECTED FROM SCHOOL DISTRICTS OF ALL SCHOOL-AGE CHILDREN IN THE 1987 NATIONWIDE FOOD CONSUMPTION SURVEY (NFCS). THIS INFORMATION, COMBINED WITH THE FULL NFCS DATABASE, WILL PROVIDE DATA FOR DESCRIPTIVE ANALYSIS OF THE SCHOOL NUTRITION PROGRAMS AND FOR UPDATING STUDENT PARTICIPATION MODELS USED TO ASSESS LEGISLATIVE AND BUDGETARY PROPOSALS.
