Abstract: THE OMNIBUS TRADE AND COMPTETITIVENESS ACT OF 1988, SECTION 3302(C), MANDATES EXIM TO SUBMIT A REPORT ANALYZING TIED AID/MIXED CREDIT PRACTICES. AS ONE INPUT TO THIS EVALUATION, ROUGHLY 25 U.S. EXPORTERS WILL BE VISITED BY EXIM/COMMERCE STAFF AND ASKED TO DISCUSS THE EFFECT ON FOREIGN MIXED CREDIT PRACTICES ON THEIR LONG-RUN DECISIONS REGARDIN TOPICS SUCH AS EMPLOYMENT LEVELS AND PRODUCTION SITES.
