Approved with the understanding that BLS will: 1) keep OMB informed at key stages of the Pilot Survey project, starting with a briefing on the first month's operation of the survey, 2) arrange for a briefin by Keystone soon after the final study report is released, 3) discuss with OMB during the second quarter of FY1989 future arrangements for ensuring that OSHA, NIOSH, and CDC are kept fully informed and provide timely opportunity to work with BLS on the development of the revised occupational and injury illness reporting system, and 4) BLS shall submit, no later than June 1989, a detailed discussion of NIOSH's concerns regarding the 1989 pilots and the BLS response.
