Abstract: THE PROPOSED ACTION IS LIKELY TO RESULT IN THE HARASSMENT OR MORTALITY OF A NUMBER OF ENDANGERED OR THREATENED SEA TURTLES. THE REQUESTED INFORMATION IS NECESSARY TO MONITOR SHRIMPING OPERATIONS TO ENSURE THAT ALLOWABLE INCIDENTAL TAKE LEVELS ARE NOT EXCEEDED AND TO PROVIDE A POINT OF CONTACT TO ADVISE FISHERMEN OF ADDITIONAL MITIGATING MEASURES, IF NECESSARY.
