Abstract: RADIO MESSAGES OF VESSEL ACTIVITIES ARE USED BY DEPT. OF COMMERCE FOR REAL-TIME FISHERIES MANAGEMENT. LOGBOOKS ARE USED TO DETERMINE FEES THAT ARE PAID EVERY 3 MONTHS. SUMMARIZED REPORTS ARE USED TO MONITOR THE RELATIVE ABUNDANCE OF FISH STOCKS.
