Abstract: CPSC ROOM HEATER SURVEY TO GENERATE STATISTICALLY VALID NATIONAL ESTIMATES OF NUMBERS, TYPES OF ROOM HEATERS USED BY CONSUMERS. EXPOSUR INFORMATION WILL ENABLE CPSC TO EVALUATE RELATIVE RISKS OF DIFFERENT HEATER TYPES. SURVEY DATA WILL IMPROVE RESOURCE ALLOCATION FOR VOLUNTA STANDARDS EFFORTS, ENHANCE EDUCATION ACTIVITIES, ALLOW EVALUATION OF EXISTING STANDARDS.
