Abstract: THIS REGULATION REQUIRES EMPLOYERS TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN ACCURATE RECORDS OR EXPOSURE MONITORING AND MEDICAL SURVEILLANCE FOR EMPLOYEES EXPOSED TO ETHYLENE OXIDE (ETO). THESE RECORDS WILL BE USED BY EMPLOYERS, EMPLOYEES, PHYSICIANS AND THE GOVERNMENT TO ASSURE THAT WORK PLACE EXPOSURE TO ETO DOES NOT ADVERSEL AFFECT THE HEALTH OF EMPLOYEES.
