METHODS WILL BE EVALUATED TO EXPAND COVERAGE OF THE NATIONAL MASTER FACILITY INVENTORY BEYOND INPATIENT FACILITIES. FACILITY LISTINGS WILL BE OBTAINED FROM REGULATORY AGENCIES AND PRIVATE ASSOCIATIONS. CRITER FOR DELINEATING SURGICENTERS FROM OFFICE-BASED SURGICAL PRACTICE WILL ALSO BE TESTED IN A SAMPLE OF ABOUT 100 SURGICENTERS AND 40 GROUP AND SOLO SURGICAL PRACTICES.
