Abstract: THE REVENUE ACT OF 1987, P.L. 100-203, AMENDED 26 USC CHAPTERS 51, 52 AND 53 INCREASING TAX RATES FOR SPECIAL OCCUPATIONAL TAX AND REQUIRING THE COLLECTION OF SPECIAL TAX FROM TOBACCO, DISTILLED SPIRITS, ALCOHOL FUEL PLANS, TAX-FREE AND EXPERIMENTAL ALCOHOL BUSINESSES THAT HAD BEEN PREVIOUSLY EXEMPT FROM THE TAX.
