Abstract: EPA PROPOSES TO DEVELOP A STRATEGY FOR MUNICIPAL WASTE COMBUSTION ASH THAT ADDRESSES POTENTIAL HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECTS AND PROVIDES A MANAGEMENT SCHEME FOR HANDLING AND DISPOSING OF THE ASH. THE DATA COLLECTED WILL ALLOW EPA TO DETERMINE THE IMPACT OR BURDEN ON THE MWC INDUSTRY OF ALTERNATIVE NEW SOURCE PERFORMANCE STANDARDS AND EMISSION GUIDELINES FOR REGULATING EMISSIONS FROM NEW AND EXISTING MWC'S.
