Abstract: CONGRESS MANDATED THE BIENNIAL REPORTING ON WIC PARTICIPANT AND PROGRAM CHARACTERISTICS. THE DATA COLLECTED WILL ASSIST POLICY MAKERS AND PROGRAM MANAGERS TO MONITOR PROGRAM CHANGES AND IMPROVE PROGRAM MANGAEMENT. STATE AND LOCAL WIC STAFF WILL ASSIST IN DATA COLLECTION INCLUDING INTERVIEWING WIC PARTICIPANTS OR THEIR CARETAKERS. 'FOOD RELIEF PROGRAMS, AS PROGRAMS'
