Abstract: THE PURPOSE OF THE SURVEY IS TO OBTAIN CURRENT INFORMATION ON HOW STAT ALLOCATE FUNDS UNDER THE PERKINS ACT AND HOW THEY ADMINISTER VOCATIONAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS. THE SURVEY IS IN DIRECT RESPONSE TO A CONGRESSIONAL MANDATE TO DESCRIBE AND EVALUATE THE EFFECTS OF THE PERKINS ACT AND MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE REAUTHORIZATION OF FEDERA SUPPORT TO VOCATIONAL EDUCATION.
