IN MOST INSTANCES, EDUCATION STATISTICS ARE PUBLISHED A FULL YEAR BEHIND THE SCHOOL YEAR. SUCH DELAYS ARE UNACCEPTABLE TO EDUCATION DECISION-MAKERS. THE DATA COLLECTED WILL BE USED TO DEVELOP ESTIMATES FOR KEY EDUCATION STATISTICS TO BE PUBLISHED EARLY IN THE CURRENT SCHOOL YEAR. THE RESPONDENTS ARE STATE EDUCATION AGENCIES.
