WE HAVE APPROVED THIS INFORMATION COLLECTION THROUGH 9/87, BY WHICH TIME THE AGENCY WILL HAVE PUBLISHED A FINAL RULE ON ROOF SUPPORT IN UNDERGROUND COAL MINES. SINCE THE AGENCY ANNOUNCED ITS INTENTION IN THE NOTICE OF PROPOSED RULEMAKING TO CONVERT THIS COLLECTION OF INFORMATION TO A CERTIFICATION AS DEFINED IN 5CFR1320.7(K)(1), WE WILL EXPECT THIS COLLECTION TO EXPIRE WHEN THE FINAL RULE IS PROMULGATED, UNLESS THE RULEMAKING RECORD PRODUCES EVIDENCE THAT COMPLETELY JUSTIFIES THIS RECORDKEEPING REQUIREMENT.
