Abstract: INFORMATION IS NEEDED TO DESCRIBE THE NATURE AND EXTENT OF SUBSISTENCE UTILIZATION OF RENEWABLE NATURAL RESOURCES FOR SUBSISTENCE PURPOSES IN SOUTHEAST ALASKA. DATA WILL BE USED TO MEET LEGISLATIVELY-MANDATED REQUIREMENTS OF PLANNING FOR THE REVISION OF THE TONASS NATIONAL FOREST LAND MANAGEMENT PLAN IN SOUTHEAST ALASKA. AFFECTED PUBLICS ARE A SAMPLE OF RURAL RESIDENTS OF COMMUNITES IN SOUTHEAST ALASKA.
