THIS SURVEY WILL COLLECT DATA ON UNFILLED ORDERS AS OF DECEMBER 1986 FROM MULTIESTABLISHMENT MANUFACTURING COMPANIES. THE RESULTS WILL BE USED TO BENCHMARK THE UNFILLED ORDERS ESTIMATES TABULATED IN THE M3 MONTHLY SURVEY. THEY WI BE PUBLISHED IN AN ANNUAL REPORT IN EARLY 1988 WHEN THE SHIPMENTS AND INVENTORY BENCHMARK DATA FOR THE 1986 ASM ARE INTRODUCED TO THE MONTHL M3 SURVEY ESTIMATES.
