Abstract: THIS RULE REQUIRES CREDITORS THAT REPORT CREDIT HISTORIES TO REPORT THE HISTORY IN THE NAME OF EACH SPOUSE ON A JOINT ACCOUNT. IT IS DESIGNED TO ENSURE THAT CREDIT IS MADE AVAILABLES TO ALL CREDIT WORTHY CUSTOMERS WITHOUT DISCRIMINATION ON THE BASIS OF RACE, COLOR, RELIGION, NATIONAL ORIGIN, SEX, MARITAL STATUS AND AGE.
