THE STUDY OF LAYOFF ACTIONS IS A ONE-TI RETROSPECTIVE SURVEY OF LAYOFF ACTIVITIES IN ESTABLISHMENTS HAVING LAYOFFS OF AT LEAST 50 WORKERS FROM JULY TO DECEMBER 1985 IN SEVEN STATES.
