Abstract: THE REQUESTED INFORMATION IS ESSENTIAL TO FULFILLING THE OCC'S RESPONSIBILITY OF MAINTAINING THE SAFETY AND SOUNDNESS OF THE NATIONAL BANKING SYSTEM. IT WILL BE USED TO SUPERVISE NEW BANKS, SET POLICY AND DETERMINE THE SCOPE OF EXAMINATIONS. THE RESPONDENTS ARE NEWLY ORGANIZED NATIONAL BANKS IN OPERATION FOR LESS THAN TWO YEARS.
