Abstract: THE CENSUS BUREAU WILL TEST AND EVALUATE VARIOUS METHODS FOR ADDRESS LIST COMPILATION AND IMPROVEMENT TO BE USED IN THE 1990 DECENNIAL CENSUS. THIS TEST WILL REQUIRE RESPONDENTS TO PROVIDE INFORMATION ABO THEIR MAILING ADDRESS AND IN SOME CASES LOCATION DESCRIPTION AND/OR HOUSEHOLDER NAME FOR ADDRESSES CLASSIFIED AND UNDELIVERABLE BY THE U.S. POSTAL SERVICE.
