Abstract: UNTAXPAID BEER MAY BE REMOVED FROM A BREWERY FOR EXPORTATION WITHOUT PAYMENT OF EXCISE TAXES NORMALLY DUE. IN ORDER THAT THIS WILL BE ACCOMPLISHED AND FOR ATF TO MONITOR SUCH TRANSACTIONS, BREWERS COMPLETE ATF 5130.12(1689). THIS FORM MONITORS EXPORTS ON SHIPS AND AIRCRAFT OR TO MILITARY BASES. THE FORM IS CERTIFIED BY U.S. CUSTOMS AND ENSURES THAT UNTAXPAID BEER DOES NOT REACH DOMESTIC MARKETS.
