Abstract: THE CENSUS BUREAU IS PLANNING TO TEST AND EVALUATE VARIOUS METHODS FOR ADDRESS LIST COMPILATION AND UPDATE METHODS TO BE USED IN THE 1990 DECENNIAL CENSUS. THIS TEST WILL REQUI RESPONDENTS TO PROVIDE INFORMATION ABOUT THEIR MAILING ADDRESS, AND IN SOME CASES, THE PHYSICAL LOCATION OF THE HOUSING UNIT AND THE NAME OF THE HOUSEHOLDER.
