Abstract: UNDER IRC SEC. 41, A CORPORATION MAY TAKE A CREDIT AGAINST INCOME TAX FOR TRANSFERRING EMPLOYER SECURITIES TO AN EMPLOYEE STOCK OWNERSHIP PLAN. THE CREDIT IS BASED ON THE PLAN PARTICIPANTS' PAYROLL. FORM 8007 IS USED TO FIGURE THE CREDIT. IRS USES THE INFORMATION TO DETERMINE IF THE CREDIT WAS FIGURED CORRECTLY.
