Abstract: THE INFORMATION COLLECTED ON FORM CN-73-1 COTTON MARKET CANVASS IS NEEDED FOR USE BY USDA IN DETERMINING ACCURATE SPOT COTTON QUOTATIONS. THESE QUOTATIONS ARE PUBLISHED BY USDA AND USED BY COTTON GROWERS, MERCHANTS, GINNERS, COOPERATIVES AND OTHERS IN THE COTTON INDUSTRY AS AN AID IN DETERMINING THE MARKET PRICE OF COTTON.
