Abstract: THE INFORMATION REQUESTED IS TO IMPLEMENT A PROVISION FOR IDENTIFYING FISH TRAPS AND TRAP BUOYS WITH THE BOAT OR VESSEL FISHING THE TRAPS. WILL PREVENT TRAP POACHING AND THEFT AND WILL ENHANCE ENFORCEMENT OF FISH TRAP RESTRICTIONS. REDUCTION IN TRAP LOSS AND POACHING OF FISH WILL RESULT IN SUBSTANTIAL SAVINGS TO TRAP FISHERMEN.
