Abstract: VEHICLE MFRS. MUST SUBMIT OWNERS' MANUALS AND WARRANTY STATEMENTS TO EPA PRIOR TO THE INTRODUCTION OF A VEHICLE FOR SALE. EPA REVIEWS THESE MATERIALS TO ASSURE THAT MANUFACTURERS PROVIDE THE INFORMATION TO PURCHASERS WHICH THE CLEAN AIR ACT REQUIRES. THE S.207(B) EMISSION PERFORMANCE WARRANTY WAS EFFECTIVE BEGINNING WITH THE 1982 MODEL YEAR.
