Abstract: THE CONSULTATION PRE-APPLICATION FORM IS USED AS A PRELIMINARY BUDGETI DEVICE BY APPLICANTS DESIRING FEDERAL CONSULTATION ASSISTANCE. THIS PRE-APPLICATION ESTABLISHES THE INITIAL PLANNING BY THE STATE CONCERNE WITH FEDERAL FUNDING FOR CONSULTATION PROJECTS. INCREASE IN RESPONDEN AND RESPONSES IS DUE TO INCREASE IN NUMBER OF CONSULTATION PROJECTS. DECREASE IN BURDEN HOURS IS DUE TO DEVELOPMENT STREAMLINED APPLICATION PACKAGE AND TRAINING.
