Abstract: UNAVAILABILITY OF DATA ON SMALL BUSINESS FINANCING HAS HAMPERED OUR EFFORT IN ASSESSING THE IMPACT OF VARIOUS POLICY ACTIONS ON SMALL BUSINESSES. THIS PILOT PROJECT ATTEMPTS TO ASCERTAIN THE FEASIBILITY OF COLLECTING FINANCIAL FLOW DATA DIRECTLY FROM SMALL FIRMS THROUGH INTERVIEWING. THE STUDY SHOULD PROVIDE SAMPLE DESIGN FOR POSSIBLE USE BY DATA COLLECTION AGENCIES.
